About me
Mr. Francis (Franky) Stankiewicz joined Chronicle Heritage in early 2024 (Director of Underwater Program) and holds an M.A. in Maritime Archaeology from Flinders University and a B.S. in Marine Science and Coastal Geology from Coastal Carolina University; he is RPA certified and has extensive experience leading marine, terrestrial, and aerial remote sensing/geophysical surveys, as well as scientific diving investigations. His work spans both academic and commercial sectors in marine archaeology and geology, with experience in offshore environments, geophysical and geotechnical methods, and project execution, including recent roles supporting offshore wind and energy developments, as well as earlier work focused on sand resources and environmental monitoring.
